Olympic Hill Motivation

Home late from a work appointment, clouds building, wind howling, and blisters on my pinkie toes. Plenty of excuses for not riding tonight, but I put my head down and rode to Olympic Hill for motivation. We often take our Olympic wonderland for granted; surrounded by first class facilities, staff, and athletes. The climb to the Olympic Park is perfect for hill repeats and tonight I had four sets in my training plan. It never fails, as soon as I see the Olympic jumps, I'm all in and ready to attack my intervals. I beat the storm and enjoyed a nice tailwind home, very happy I overcame the excuses and took advantage of the opportunity to ride. Plus, if I hadn't gone out, I would have missed the rainbow.
